WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?
Our customer hours are from 9:00 am - 6:00 pm, Central Standard Time. If we do not answer the phone, please leave a message. You may also reach us by email at douetk66@gmail.com or you may send a text to 337-278-4035.
WHAT IS THE CHECK-IN TIME?
From 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm, CST
WHAT IS THE CHECK-OUT TIME?
11:00 am, CST
CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE ME IF I ARRIVE EARLIER THAN 3:00 PM?
If possible, we are happy to accommodate arrivals earlier than 3:00 pm if your room is available. However, you must call us at 337-278-4035 if you need to check in earlier than 3:00 pm. If there is no answer, please leave a message. You are not guaranteed early check-in until we speak with you.
WHAT IF I CANNOT CHECK OUT BY 11:00 AM?
Please speak with us as soon as you determine that you will not be able to depart by 11:00 am.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS YOUR ROOMS CAN ACCOMMODATE?
Our rooms will generally accommodate a maximum of 2 people. However, the Carriage House has two bedrooms which can accommodate up to 4 people . There is an additional $45/person charge for more than 2 persons.
DO YOU ACCEPT CHILDREN?
One child under 10 years of age is allowed per room. Children who are 11 years of age or older are considered adults.
DO YOU SERVE BREAKFAST DAILY AND, IF SO, PLEASE EXPLAIN WHAT IS SERVED?
A full breakfast for two per room is served daily between 8:45 am - 10:15 am. Staff will prepare specific breakfast items for each day of the week. You will not choose from a menu. Breakfast is available family-style in the main dining room or pick-up for cottages and gallery if you choose. Special dietary needs can be accommodated but require advance notice when you make your reservation.
ARE CHILDREN SERVED BREAKFAST AND, IF SO, WHAT IS THE COST?
Children over age five are permitted without cost, but a breakfast fee will be charged. Children between the ages of 14 to 18 pay an additional $15.00 guest fee.
DO YOU PROVIDE LUNCH AND DINNER?
We do not provide any meals other than breakfast. Visit our Restaurant page for information on where to dine.
DO YOU HAVE HANDICAP ACCOMMODATIONS?
The cottage named Sally is handicap accessible with a handicap accessible bathroom.
DOES YOUR PROPERTY HAVE WI-FI?
Internet access is available but may be difficult in some areas due to the thickness of the walls in the main house.
DO YOU ALLOW PETS?
One pet is allowed per room at the rate of $100 deposit fee, charged upon reserving the room. If there is no pet damage upon departure, the deposit will be returned. Space is available for pet walks and potty needs, but please clean up after your pet and bring bags for that purpose.
DO YOU CHARGE A DEPOSIT?
All rooms require a one night's fee charged at time of booking. You must provide us with a credit card number even if you pay by cash for incidentals and security. This includes if you are using a Gift Certificate. Credit card numbers are mandatory for all reservations. Any missing items or damage to property will be charged to your credit card.
HOW DO I CANCEL A RESERVATION?

CAN YOU PROVIDE INFORMATION ON THE AREA?

CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE PARKING FOR LARGE EVENTS AND IS THERE A COST?
We have complimentary onsite parking.
DO YOU ALLOW SMOKING ON YOUR PROPERTY?
Smoking is allowed outside on the patio area only. Please do not dispose of your cigarette butts in the gardens or lawn areas.
WHAT DO I DO IF I LOSE MY KEY DURING MY STAY?
Please call 337-278-4035 and someone will assist you.
IF I MISTAKENLY TAKE MY KEY HOME WITH ME, WHAT SHOULD I DO?
Any keys mistakenly taken must be returned. $25 per set will be charged to your credit card if not returned.
ARE THERE CURFEWS FOR GUESTS STAYING IN THE B&B?
Each guest has a front door combination and a room key, so you may come and go as you wish. We do ask that you be mindful of other guests when you enter and leave the premises.
WHERE CAN I ENTERTAIN MY GUESTS WHO ARE VISITING ME?
Guests may visit in the living room, on the porch or gallery, or in the gardens.
DOES YOUR B&B OFFER PACKAGES OR SPECIALS?
We do not offer Packages, Specials or Enhancements.
CAN I PLAN AN EVENT WHILE STAYING IN THE B&B AS A GUEST?
This facility is considered an event space as well as a B&B. Fees for use of any space that include members not in your party must be purchased separately. Rental of a room does not guarantee space for an event.
