The second floor has a small library containing the findings of the UL Archeology Department. There are also documents written by Mr. Duralde that describe life in Louisiana and translations of the Attakapas and Chitimacha vocabulary into French. These items were forwarded to Thomas Jefferson prior to the Louisiana Purchase. Other items of historic interest and works of art will also be housed here.
