- What a find!Best bed and breakfast in Louisiana, actually in several States. Ken and Rich, the owners and hosts, know many stories and the complete history of Maison Stephanie. The main house is extremely storied and very well restored. But what is the best are their breakfasts. To get up, fully relaxed and restored, to go up front and have an outstanding breakfast with the other guests is something to look forward to. Well worth the time to visit and learn some history as well. I stay here every time I am within range. If you do stay, tell Ken and Rich hi for me.
- This Bed and Breakfast is beyond amazing! Charming location rich in history, beautiful house and rooms, wonderful owners and amazing service. The owners greet you like friends and I've never seen a bed and breakfast location handled with such care and love. It is a must stay if you're near Lafayette. Ce Bed and Breakfast est incroyable! Une merveilleuse maison riche en histoire et de charmantes chambres, des proprietaries merveilleux et un service incroybale. Je recommande cet endroit sans hésitation.
- What a wonderful experience! We went for a romantic weekend over the Christmas holiday. We stayed in the Clarice room and we're looking forward to going back. The bed was comfortable, the tub was huge, and the veranda will be great on our next trip when it's not raining. The proprietors are friendly, fun, welcoming, and have done extensive research to make the home as period correct as possible. The location is very convenient to Lafayette, Arnaudville, and Breaux Bridge, but distant enough to be able to enjoy the night sky without city lights. Breakfast is fantastic! Best scones and biscuits I've had, and Ken does his scrambled eggs low and slow so they come out creamy and delicious. I highly recommend Mason Stephanie.
- My siblings and our spouses recently spent the weekend at Maison Stephanie. It was a wonderful experience. The facility was beautiful and close to unique shops and restaurants. Ken and Rich are both so friendly and welcoming. The breakfasts they served reminded us of our mom's excellent cooking and Chef Bonnie served a phenomenal dinner. I'm hoping we get to visit again soon. Thank you Ken, Rich, Bonnie and staff.
- The most accommodating stay I've ever had. The staff were very welcoming and willing to talk about the history of the property. The room I stayed in was amazing. It still had the historical aspect but with modern amenities. The bathroom was impressive. My wife and I really enjoyed going for a walk around the property. The landscaping was remarkable. The breakfast was outstanding and there was no bad part about this stay. It was awesome to reflect on how people use to live back in the days when the property was first built. I'd highly recommend it.
- My family and I visited La Maison Stephanie this past weekend and it was a dream! It was six of us total (well, plus our pup made 7) and we fit very comfortably in the Carriage House on the property. The food was absolutely amazing! Cheese tray and Wine, gumbo with potato salad and a lovely dessert all with homemade bread... the next morning was fluffy eggs, bacon, and homemade biscuits. Ken and Rich were the best hosts and we had everything we needed! The homes are beautiful and full of southern-Acadian charm. It was so interesting to hear about the home's history! We plan to go back in the spring and see the flowers in full bloom. Absolutely lovely place!
